Karen joined the firm at the end of 2021 as a Corporate Legal Assistant with an emphasis in Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate and Estate Planning.  Prior to that time and for most of her career, Karen worked with firms in both the Portland and Los Angeles areas, and recently worked outside the Legal field as an Executive Assistant.

Karen’s interests include volunteering with and/or supporting the Oregon Food Bank, Portland Audubon, WashCo Animal Services, Lewis & Clark Animal Law Symposium, Portland International Rose Garden, Northwest VEG & Vegan Night Market, and Wildwood Farm Sanctuary.  For some down-time, she enjoys hanging out with two feline furbabies, yoga, outdoor walks/hikes, and the amazing Oregon Coast.
